Come Help Us Celebrate the Gift of NAMI NC Programs
We are celebrating our 25th anniversary!! We'd like to share what we have to offer you and those you serve -free programs and support when it is most needed, at a time of unprecedented cuts. And we are celebrating you and the service you provide to those living with mental illness.
NAMI North Carolina would like to invite you to our Open House on December 10, 2009 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at 309 W. Millbrook Rd., Suite 121, Raleigh NC. Please stop by to collect information on all that NAMI
NC has to offer (six educational programs!), enjoy some networking opportunities and light holiday refreshments.
In the spirit of the season we ask that you bring 2 nonperishable
food items so that we may donate to Urban Ministries of Wake County.

NCARF Winter Training |

NCARF will be hosting a Winter Training on January 22, 2010 in Greensboro, NC.
The featured topic of discussion will be Human Resource Issues in Non-Profits. Mike Womble, SPHR, from Carolina Human Resources, Inc. will instruct the course. More information and a course description will follow. Plan to attend!

RFA #DVR 00638 Deadline Extended |

Regarding Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Request for Applications Related to ARRA funds
The deadline for applications to RFA #DVR 00638 has been extended. The new dates are as follows.
10/20/2009: Request for Application announced.
12/15/2009: Due date for any questions concerning the RFA.
12/18/2009: Answers to questions concerning the RFA will be made available.
01/11/2010: Applications due to the Division (via email) by close of business (5:00 p.m.).
01/25/2010: Estimated date for awards to be announced.
03/01/2010: Estimated date for contracts to begin.
Additional questions will be accepted from now until December 15th and a new question and answer document will be sent to everyone that has requested a copy of the RFA on December 18.
